What should I pay attention to when starting the air compressor?

What should we pay attention to when using an air compressor? This is a question that many air compressor maintenance personnel and most users (air compressor managers) are concerned about.

In fact, it is not complicated. Before starting, check whether the pressure, temperature, pressure difference, loading and unloading solenoid valve, motor overcurrent, undervoltage and other safety linkage devices of the air compressor system meet the standards.

1. Remove the sleepers, cushions, hoops and some supports and other debris on site.

2. Some miscellaneous items inside and outside the air compressor body, flammable, explosive, chemically corrosive items, such as lighters, sulfuric acid, etc.

3. Whether the safety linkage devices such as pressure, temperature, pressure difference, loading and unloading solenoid valves, motor overcurrent, undervoltage, etc. are qualified.

4. The oil tank should be filled with enough oil, otherwise it will cause high temperature and seriously burn the rotor.

5. The water-cooled air compressor must be connected to the water circuit, otherwise the machine will burn out again. Then the air compressor host must be overhauled. Then close the electronic drain valve in the air compressor accessories and check whether the air outlet valve is open. If it is not open, the consequences are very serious. Check whether the bolts of the motor base, host, etc. are all fixed.

6. Check whether the oil pipe and air pipe are installed correctly and whether the status of each valve is correct.

7. Check the setting value of the motor overload relay, check whether the wires are connected correctly and in compliance with safety regulations, and whether the motor phase sequence is reversed. Reverse connection will cause the motor to reverse, and the air compressor will become an air suction machine instead of an air generator, and the entire machine will basically be scrapped.
