Analysis of Factors Affecting Production Capacity of Hydrogen Compressor
Hydrogen compressors are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, metallurgy, shipbuilding and other projects, but some factors will affect the production capacity of hydrogen compressors. Today, let us look at these factors.
1. Clearance volume: The larger the clearance of the cylinder, when the piston is compressed to the end and moves backward, the useful volume of the cylinder increases due to the expansion of the high-pressure gas in the gap during inhalation, resulting in a decrease in the amount of fresh air inhaled. Thereby reducing the production capacity and volume power of the compressor.
2. Leakage loss: The productivity of the compressor is closely related to the sealability of the piston ring, intake valve, exhaust valve and cylinder packing.
The piston ring is sleeved on the piston, and its function is to seal the gap between the piston and its cylinder through lubricating oil or itself to prevent the gas on both sides of the piston from leaking. Therefore, when installing the piston ring, it should be able to expand and contract freely to produce a good seal, but it should not cause too much friction between the piston ring and the cylinder. If the friction between the piston ring and the cylinder is too large, or the installation is not good, the seal is not complete, part of the high-pressure gas in the compression process will be pressed into the outlet pipe without a pressure outlet valve, but from the piston ring The slack leaked out. In this way, because the amount of compressed gas is small, the productivity of the compressor will also decrease.
3. Gas temperature: The volume of the compressor cylinder is fixed. If the temperature of the suction gas is too high, the distance between the gas molecules will increase due to the heat expansion of the gas, which will reduce the density and weight of the gas in the suction cylinder, thereby reducing the production capacity of the compressor. If the temperature of other inhaled gas is too high, it will contain more saturated water vapor. The amount of useful gas sucked by the compressor per unit volume is reduced, so the production capacity of the compressor can be increased by controlling the temperature of the inlet air in a section.
