Introduction to the working principle of carbon 2 oxide compressor

Edit:Bengbu Zhengda Compressor Co., Ltd.UpDate:2022-09-26

A compressor is a driven fluid machine that raises low-pressure gas to high-pressure gas. It is the heart of the refrigeration system. It inhales low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas from the suction pipe, compresses it by driving the piston through the motor, and then discharges high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas to the exhaust pipe, providing power for the refrigeration cycle.

Thus, the refrigeration cycle of compression → condensation (heat release) → expansion → evaporation (heat absorption) is realized. Compressors are divided into piston compressors, screw compressors, centrifugal compressors, linear compressors, etc. The entry introduces the working principle, classification, accessories, specifications, operation requirements, production of compressors, common faults and environmental protection requirements, selection principles, installation conditions and development trends of compressors.

The working principle is that the intake system stores the carbon dioxide gas in the cylinder, and the carbon dioxide compressor pressurizes the carbon dioxide gas through the reciprocating piston movement. After reaching a certain pressure, the pressurized carbon dioxide gas is transported out by the exhaust system.

A carbon dioxide compressor is a compressor used to pressurize and transport carbon dioxide gas.

Mainly used in urea synthesis equipment. Attention should be paid to the following when designing and using:

(1) Carbon dioxide has a high critical temperature and can be liquefied at 31.3 degrees Celsius and 7.14 MPa. When used in winter, the interstage cooling temperature cannot be too low;

(2) When the carbon dioxide is below 60 MPa, it is conducive to the compression of the gas;

(3) Due to the high relative density of carbon dioxide gas, it is not advisable to use an excessively high average piston speed, otherwise the valve resistance will be large;

(4) Carbon dioxide gas contains a small amount of water and is highly corrosive, so the gas valve, cooler and buffer tank must be made of stainless steel.
