Hydrogen compressor equipment structure and preparations before start-up
Hydrogen compressor is an oil-free reciprocating compressor, which is a positive displacement compressor that compresses and delivers gas through a reciprocating piston in a cylinder. The piston is driven by the crankshaft connecting rod device to reciprocate in the cylinder, and then the gas is compressed and transported.
It is mainly composed of crankcase, crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, piston, cylinder, gear pump, intake valve and exhaust valve.
The crankcase is made of cast iron and has no side windows for easy inspection and maintenance.
The crankshaft and connecting rod are forged steel, the crankshaft bearing is a rolling bearing, and the crankshaft seal is a mechanical seal. The gear pump driven by the crankshaft adopts a forced smoothing circuit to ensure the smoothness of the crankcase.
This cylinder is made of ductile iron.
The air valve is a stainless steel valve and a flat plate type.
In order to ensure the long-term safe operation of the compressor, when the compressor is in a dangerous working condition, it can proactively announce an alarm. If it cannot return to the normal working condition, it can take the initiative to stop the compressor.
Preparations before starting the hydrogen compressor:
1. Clean the workshop and site, keep the environment clean, and there must be no factors that affect the work of the operators.
2. Comprehensively check the compressor gas pipeline and all the valves on the pipeline are sensitive and easy to use, confirm that the compressor inlet and outlet valves, outlet vent valves, torch vent valves, and high point vent valves are closed, and confirm that the safety valve root valve is open.
3. Check the compressor circulating cooling water system and all the valves on the pipeline are sensitive and easy to use. Open the inlet and outlet oil valves of the oil cooler, coarse filter, and fine filter in turn, and close other oil valves. Make sure that the oil level of the oil tank and the oil level of the motor bearing seat is above 2/3, and the product is qualified for sampling and analysis. Open all the root valves of the pressure gauge on the smooth tubing.
