1. Selection of compressor
a. When purchasing, only the low price of the machine is considered, but when using it, it is found that the quality is too poor, the operation is unstable, and the downtime is long, which causes the production line to stop and lose money.
b. When purchasing, only operational stability is considered, and the energy consumption ratio is ignored, which leads to huge waste over time. Based on a ten-year service life, the equipment purchase cost accounts for about 5-10%, the maintenance cost accounts for about 5-10%, and the electricity consumption cost accounts for about 80-90%. Therefore, when purchasing, the working efficiency of the machine should be considered first, and saving means making money.
c. Operation stability and maintenance convenience are also factors that need to be considered. Ignoring the supplier's after-sales service quality during procurement, the failure to arrive at the scene for troubleshooting, and the inconvenience in purchasing spare parts will all cause unnecessary losses. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the supplier's after-sales service quality.
2. System Planning
a. The size and number of compressors must be carefully calculated and determined.
b. The more post-processing equipment, the better. Instead, it should be equipped as needed.
c. The computer room should be located in a clean and well-ventilated place.
d. The pipeline layout should minimize elbows and joints, and the pipe diameter should also be selected reasonably.
f. Consider the occasion and conditions of gas use. If the gas use site is small (for ships and cars), vertical type should be selected; if the gas use site has long-distance changes, mobile type should be considered; if the use site cannot be powered, diesel engine driven type should be selected; if there is no running water in the use site, air cooling type must be selected. In the two cooling methods of air cooling and water cooling, users often have a wrong understanding and think that water cooling is good, but it is not true. Among small compressors at home and abroad, air cooling accounts for more than 90%, because air cooling is simple in design and does not require water source when used. Water-cooled compressors are suitable for larger occasions, and the cooling effect of the compressor is guaranteed.
g. Consider the quality of compressed air. Generally, the compressed air produced by the compressor contains a certain amount of lubricating oil and a certain amount of water. In some occasions, oil and water are prohibited. In this case, you should not only pay attention to the selection of the compressor, but also add auxiliary devices when necessary. The solution is: one is to use a non-lubricated compressor. The second and most commonly used method is to add a first or second stage purification device or dryer to the compressor (regardless of the type). This device can make the compressor air free of both oil and water, and make the oil and water content in the compressed air below 3ppm, which can meet the process requirements.
