Knowledge about daily maintenance of air compressors

Daily maintenance knowledge of air compressor:

1. Every day or every time before get off work:

(1) Drain the oil and gas barrels.

(2) Check the oil level.

(3) Preparation of peripheral equipment, such as water supply, power transmission, and opening of compressor outlets.

2. Work 500 hours:

(1) Remove the air filter element and clean it, and blow it from inside to outside with low pressure compressed air below 0.2MPa..

(2) After using the new machine, replace the oil filter.

(3) Replace the coolant.

(4) Clean the filter element of the air filter cup;

(5) Clean the filter element of the drain valve.

3. Work for 1000 hours:

(1) Check the action and moving parts of the intake valve, and add grease.

(2) Clean the air filter.

(3) Check the fastening bolts of the pipe joints and the fastening screws of the terminals.

4. Work for 2000 hours or 6 months.

(1) Check each pipeline.

(2) Replace the air filter element.

(3) Replace the oil filter.

(4) Replace the filter element of the air cleaner cup.

(5) Replace the filter element of the active drain valve.

(6) Replenish the motor grease.

5. Work 3000 hours or a year:

(1) Check the action state of the intake valve and whether the valve plate is locked.

(2) Check all solenoid valves.

(3) Check whether each protection differential pressure switch works normally.

(4) Replace the oil separator.

(5) Check the pressure maintenance valve.

(6) Clean the cooler and replace the O-ring.

(7) Replace the air filter element and the oil filter element.

(8) Check the action of the starter.

6. Every 6000 hours:

(1) Clean the coolant system.

(2) Replace the coolant of the screw air compressor (replacement cycle when the exhaust temperature is lower than 85°C).

7.1 years or within 2 years:

(1) Replace the body bearing and oil seal, and adjust the gap.

(2) Measure the insulation of the motor, and the insulation should be above 1ω.
